Meet Amy Wald, President at Grenluxe
Hi, I’m Amy Wald, a self-proclaimed hotelophile (that’s French for 'obsessed with hotels' 😉) and animal lover. My journey into sustainable hospitality wasn’t a straight path – it was a heart-calling that took me from working on the supply side of hospitality to sailing the high seas on cruise ships, exploring the jungles of Sumatra, and beyond.
While finishing my bachelor’s degree in sustainable business, I set out to visit the most sustainable luxury hotels worldwide. This journey eventually inspired me to start my business in 2019. Over the past decade, I’ve dedicated myself to studying and transforming hotels into leaders in sustainable luxury hospitality.
When I’m not working inside a hotel, you can find me sharing stories on the Sustainable Hospitality Podcast or fostering pregnant dogs.
